Background and Education
Dave Goebel has more than 30 years of experience helping to improve manufacturing processes in firms ranging from small privately held companies to large corporations. He has held the position of Industrial Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Manufacturing Engineering Manager, Plant Manager and General Manager.
Dave has successfully managed multi-million dollar capital budgets and cost reduction programs in a multi-plant environment. He has managed major projects for companies in the automotive, medical device, power tool and binding industries.
At Missouri Enterprise, he has managed many successful Lean projects for Missouri manufacturers utilizing his knowledge of Value Stream Mapping, Cellular Technology, 6S, Set-Up Reduction and Total Productive Maintenance.
Dave is a Certified Lean Practitioner, Silver Level, through the Society of Manufacturing Engineers; a certified Innovation Engineering Black Belt; and a certified Training Within Industy Job Instruction Trainer. He holds an Associate Degree in Industrial Engineering Technology from St. Louis Community College, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Product Management from Washington University and an MBA from Maryville University. Among numerous certifications, he hold a certificate in Lean Leadership from the University of Michigan.
