Responsibilities
Rick engages with Missouri manufacturers to identify the challenges that they face and determine which solutions will most effectively help them meet those challenges. Rick works with companies in Central and South Central Missouri.
Background and Education
Rick is a fourth generation Missourian raised in the Ozarks near Salem. Before being hired by Missouri Enterprise in 1989, Rick worked as a television news reporter, communications coordinator, grant writer, economic developer and private entrepreneur in both economic development consulting and a retail food-service business. He has worked for over 30 years to help Missouri manufacturers be more successful and provide good jobs for fellow Missourians. Rick has held a variety of management positions within Missouri Enterprise. He has been responsible for the creation and/or management of programs that have generated millions of dollars in revenue for both the organization and its clients. He is, also, an experienced public speaker, facilitator, teacher and writer. Rick holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications from Oklahoma Christian University.
